Angry Audio Jack snapped off.

Hello,

Just about 30 minutes ago before I first posted this I plugged my headphones into my computers audio jack and then pulled my headphones out again, and it has snapped in half and part of it is left inside!

Now after that I thought I could get an object about the same size put a piece of Blue Tack on the end and stick it in there and pull it all out. Irritatingly this then cause the bit of blue tack to get stuck in there as well-Yes I know im an idiot!. (keep it in mind that its stuck in their before you reply).

My Question is this....

Any ideas about how to get it out of there without sending it into Acer?

unfortunately I very much doubt you will be able to get anything strong enough to pull it out. If you had a dekstop computer you could replace the sound card or add a second one, however since its a laptop, it cannot be done. I'm afraid it will probably have to go back to acer, and im unsure if a 12-month warranty would cover such a repair.
