I'm trying to install my Aureon 5.1 USB soundcard but during installation it keeps asking where it can find a file "ausens.sys" to complete installation.
nothing comes up on google or anywhere when i search for it and I can't find the file present anywhere on my computer.
If anyone could help me with what to do I'd be extremely grateful!

The fact its a 'sys' file extension suggests it should be resident within windows.

Could you just confirm your spelling of "ausens" please.

Have you tried downloading the latest drivers/software from their website perhaps? Could just be some crappy incompatiblity which they fixed on a later version.

The Sound Card Aureon 5.1 USB Version as you know is external and it latest driver Version is 5.11.3.3508 > Here as your not coming off PCI i would download the driver to your desktop and shut down all Anti virus, malware, spyware or if you want to be sure of a good driver take install in safe mode, as for your sys file do you have your OS disk ?
