when i turn on my computer the sound that you first hear doesnt start, i cannot get my volume icon to go on the toolbar, whenever i go into control panel to change the settings for my sound it never stays the same, it always goes back to the way it was. i can hear songs on windows media player but when i go on myspace or you tube i cannot hear anything and i have the lastest version of macromedia.....does anyone know why my computer is doing this???

no i havent hardware. and what do you mean by specs? ask me a question and ill answer hahaha its been doing it for about 2 months now

by specs i mean specifications, e.g your sound card make and model

can u plz goto start-->all programs-->accessories-->system tools-->system information double click components down the left then click sound device and then tell me what it says by the name on the right hand side, all of the name and model thx dave

thats the one, ok, go Here, thats the latest driver for ur sound card, install it, restart ur comp and see if sound works
