I recently moved and no longer use the usb sound converter to my stereo for my pc. Since then the analogue jacks fail to recognise that my speakers are plugged in at all. If i go to control panel, sound and audio devices, everything below is transparent and unselectable, it also states that no audio device is there, in otherwords my firmly plugged in speakers are apperently non existant. I originally turned something off via help from another forum relating to the usb signal for sound to be disabled in order to resume normal sound. Since then i have bought a soundcard and installed it. No change, still no sound.

If anyone could be of help that would be fantastic. Most of my friends are stumped by it.
