The owner of itsallPC. homerj is part fruit bat, on his mother's side, and has a large collection of antique chamber pots. An accomplished horse breeder and croquet player, homerj is prolific throughout the electric poet community. homerj does not wear store bought clothing because he thinks they're the devil, instead knitting full suits from the hair shed of his twenty seven cats.

syphus no longer has the time to dedicate to itsallPC, which is just as well, because you wouldn't have liked him. Occasionally he logs in and rudely broadcasts his opinions.

MidiMoto

MidiMoto has damaged a lot of PCs in his career thus far. This means he has either gathered a lot of experience, or is a menace to society. I'll leave that up to you.


PC Builder

PC Builder is our preferred cannon fodder SM, who will answer your post when everyone else is too lazy. PC Builder's appointment was controversial. You may suspect that PC Builder is Irish.


Schmidget

Newest addition to the Moderator team, Schmidget has a growing expertise in graphics cards. Although he doesn't know it, Schmidget is a multiple abductee. Contrarily, everyone now knows that is Father is a closet pyromaniac.

If you require assistance that directly relates to the website, content or your account, please feel free to contact a staff member. If you want help with your computer or related product, please post to the appropriate board. This way, anyone can answer and view your post. If you contact a staff member on non-itsallPC matters, don't be offended if they do not reply - each staff member has their own policies and are frequently inundated with messages.

If you PM a staff member, requesting permission to do something, and you are turned down, do not then go on to message others. Staff openly discusses any topics related to itsallPC and comes to a consensus before acting. Trying to go around one staff member's reply by trying another won't raises your favour at all, and will probably affect the outcome of anything you ask in the future.

At times, staff members will disagree on a topic. If this happens, just use your best judgment.

A few people have asked me if they can have a staff position, or how people get appointed.

Staff positions are not automatically appointed after a certain length of time. Generally speaking, itsallPC members are approached when there is a need. Members are considered based on these merits.

• Frequent visitation
  Staff members should visit at least once a day if they can. Staff needs to react fast if non-conformant content is posted.
• Fairly high degree of computer knowledge, or ability to learn quickly.
  Staff members are expected to actively engage in assisting people with their problems. This is not possible if they don’t have a reasonably wide basic understanding of the PC, or if they have a knowledge that is entirely composed of misconception or conjecture.
• Willingness to help
  itsallPC is non-profit and members do not expect to get anything out of helping people, except the satisfaction of helping someone out of their confusion.
• Good attitude
  Many people who are skilled with computers adopt an arrogant perception of the average PC user. We here at itsallPC believe that not everyone needs a great wealth of knowledge, just as a car mechanic doesn’t expect everyone to possess the ability to rebuild an engine.
• Don’t ask
  Anyone who requests a staff position will never get one. The previous two points outline why. Motivation to help and good attitude should preclude any desire to elevate yourself above your peers. Asking for a staff position shows that you don’t have the selflessness that is expected from staff members.

Being a member of our moderator team is no great honor or power. It is responsibility and duty.
