It's not bad - nice mouse and keyboard, but your display is on the small side, imo, and you simply have to overclock the Q6600. Does it have the G0 stepping?

It's the processor revision - the "G0" revision of the Q6600 overclocks amazingly - you're pretty much guaranteed to exceed 3.0GHz. Mine's at 3.2GHz, with at least another 400MHz in reserve.

I think all Q6600 Pros are the latest revision.

What sort of clock speed is the 8800GT btw?

cheers for that link ! my mate has the same CPU and he has his clocked at 3.2Ghz but i dont know enough to mess about with it to be honest ! and the graphics card speed is 660Mhz core clock speed and 1800Mhz memory clock speed
