OK My pc spec is...
Intel Dual core 6Ghz 450W PSU 2GB RAM Windows Vista Home Premium 32-Bit Nvidia 8500 Graphics Happuage TV Tuner Media Centre Kitted

What CPU is it? It's not 6GHz - it'll be 2 cores @ 3GHz. It does make a difference, since a 6GHz processor would absolutely tear through tasks like video encoding compared to a 3GHz CPU. As it stands, dual cores are suited for multi-tasking, so you can encode video, and still surf or do other tasks on the remaining core.
It's a decent mid-range machine. 6.5/10

Sorry its two cores at 3.0Ghz forgot that bit. But i did say it was a dual core 6Ghz

I'm guessing you got it from eBay?
3GHz X 2 Cores does not equal 6GHz. Its the way eBay sellers in particular try grab your attention, and I presume they fool a hell of a lot of people...
