Right i have been looking laptops up for work and that and been asking people which one i should get, so fare they have all said a FUJITSU SEMENS AMILO.

Would this be a good laptop for portability and also for memery and power??

I have an acer of nearly the exact same spec - except a
it's an intel processor, and the ATI X1400.

Graphic and general processing capabilities are superb. Hope this helps a little.

I have an Amilo D1845 and seems to be a fairly good solid machine, was a reasonable price at the time too.

yeah i have found that model for a good price, i just need to get the money now and it will be all mine
