Hi All - First post.

Heres my spec - not fantastic but suprisingly good considering the total build cost. I think I should have done a bit more research though as I would have known about AM2 being on the horizon at the time and the price crash of 939 (the 3200 is now available for £45 inc VAT, was at £110 at the time I purchased). Previous PC was a 700mhz Celeron with 384mb SDRam and 40GB HD.

I'm not a die hard gamer but I downloaded demos of BF2 and Quake4 and was suprised with it handling high detail at 1280x1024 with no serious problems/slowdown. Both games were completely playable.

I've been offered £300 for all of the above (good deal??) - I'm thinking of building an Intel system for a change but don't know wether to save for entry level Conroe or spend the money on an older technology. ÂÂ!
