I had it opened when I putting in a new GFX CARD.. I put my 2 spare cd roms in it (giving me a total of 4) but they were just roms so i took them out and I have a slave port left for another HDD

Re: Rate Mine
SiS 963 is a Southbridge, usually paired with the SiS 661FX Northbridge.
Generally, the chipset pair takes the name of the Northbridge, which means you have a SiS 661FX chipset. Things get confusing when there are multiple pairs, such as 661FX/963 and 661FX/964L. In Intel and Athlon XP chipsets, the Northbridge is most important anyway, accounting for performance. It's rare for two chipset pairs to have a feature gap as big as SATA...but then....SiS are crap. The point is, you have a 4 device maximum, so you can't use 2 HDDs and 4 DVD-RWs |
