Re: Is mine ok

How much did you pay for the video card? Just want to be sure you didn't get ripped off.

From what I can see it's not that bad really. You didn't list RAM amount. It looks like the perfect home computer for most people.

Re: Is mine ok

That's alright I guess, just make sure shipping isn't outrageous.

If I had one I'd probably give it to you free, but not everyone likes to do that.

I wish people would stop concentrating on the memory quantity of graphics cards...it seems like there's no way to convince them that it's the least important aspect

I'm not talking about the 8MB

I'm talking about:

Midimoto: The matter of equipping excessive memory to graphics cards purely for the purpose of taking advantage of people who don't know better, isn't a rant. It's a matter of educating people.

Re: Is mine ok

That was what I was going to say. I was wondering what Syphus was talking about. That whole ordeal had me very confused.

I was just being awkward... the post was completely meaningless as I really don't have a clue about graphics cards... Its one of my weaknesses...ÂÂ! :P

(Oh and the *rant rant* wasnt aimed at you... or anybody for that matter)

Re: Is mine ok

That is a bit expensive compared to what you could get second hand.
Also, it is possible to get 32 bit colour without a video card, all you need is the correct driver for your integrated graphics.
