New lights...new thread :)

well, i won a computer contest and got some cold cathodes from it 2 * 12" sound activated white cathodes from coolermaster, very bright!!!!. i can't even see my LED's anymore they overpower them. what yall' think? my PC needs major cleaning/wire hiding...but right now i dont care. i dont even have it standing up right...i prefer it laying down.

lol so is mine, a CPU, HDD, RAM, Mobo, etc you mean odds and ends...or jsut custom? kind of confused me on that one. this PC has been built from the ground up over a period of years...it's kind of old, although still fun. will sell it one day i hope, and upgrade.

The CPU is your processor, this is the power of your computer, it stands for (Central Processing Unit)
Its like the heart of your motherboard.
you can find out what size processor your computer has by right clicking my computer and going to properties., it should tell you there under the general tab. Is this Right

Pretty much. You can also get programs like CPUZ that will tell you even more about your processor. The brand, socket type, amount of cache, speed, default settings and voltage, etc. There are alot of different types of CPU's, the main 2 brands being Intel and AMD as you probably know.
