New laptop, FINALLY.
I finally bought a new laptop from Dell. It's a Dell Inspiron 9300. Specs:

Intel Pentium M Processor @ 2GHz, 2MB casche, 533FSB
2 GB Dual channel DDR2 @ 533MHz
100GB HDD @ 5,400RPM
8x DVD+/-RW with DL capability
256MB nVidia GeFore Go 6800

I am very happy with the system. Would've been nice to have been half the price, though. $2,700 I sure don't have, lol.

Will put up some pics when it arrives (July 25th at latest)

well im useing the dell 2400 Demsion Desk Top it sucks but it does the job and intel genaric vidio card sucks to on games and it doesn't have a agp slot for and advancement on the vidio card but it has played must games I have installed even thow some of them lagged well later root if any one knows any small way I can make this thing better Im always open for the tips

Thank you very much! I'm still waiting for it to get here..I get more and more anxious every day that passes. Lol. Definately X-Mas in July. :-P

A couple pictures...Nice 17" widescreen.




S-Video, NIC, 4USB ports, modem, Serial, VGA and DVI-D ports.




The keyboard, equipped with DVD buttons such as ff, rewind, play, etc.

Thats a HOT HOT HOT machine root.... I guess its the 2gig of DDR2 @533 Mhz thats driving the price up but heck you have to spoil your self sometimes dont u lol Good choice looks nice... enjoy!

I'm not a huge Dell fan, but it certainly does look appealing (specs and looks lol.) Did you purchase it with one of Dell's coupons/deals? They very frequently have discounts and such that can save you a couple hundred bucks.
