Dell 8250 RAM Upgrade
Hi everyone
Made the mistake of buying the wrong RD RAM for my Dell Dimension 8250. Am reselling :-( (I bought RD Ram PC800-45). However, now I have found out that my PC uses RD Ram as in PC 1066. It is very expensive :-( When I put the wrong RAM in, my PC gave me a message saying please install RAM RD PC800-40 or faster. Does this mean I can sill install RD Ram PC800 - 40 or faster instead of the much more expensive PC 1066 RAM? Please advise me. I curently have 216MB and want to upgrade to 1 GIG. Many thanks
