i have this 64 mb sd ram stick that only has four chips on one side and none on the other.... interesting enough for an explaination? ???

It sounds like an old SDRam chip. pretty common I think... ???

Kinda sounds like the RAM in my laptop, it's a SODIMM I think. Here is a picture:
