Ram help
Hi,
I'm currently going to buy some new ram, i want at least 1gb or more. Problem is tho i'm not totally sure if this ram will fit my current motherboard. I was hoping some1 could help me. This is my current motherboard - http://www.giga-byte.com/Motherboard/Products/Products_GA-8IPE1000%20(Rev%201.x).htm# and i want to buy this ram - http://cgi.ebay.com.au/CORSAIR-1GB-5...QQcmdZViewItem and the current ram i have atm - Manufactuer MOSEL model BPB6U88A type 256mb DDR-SDRAM Technology 8x(32Mx8) speed PC3200U 3.0-3-3-8 Version 1.1 date of manufactur Friday, november 17,2073 set timing @ 200mhz 3.0-3-3-8 set timing @ 167mhz 2.5-3-3-7 set timing @ 133mhz 2.0-2-2-5 I'm pretty sure it will fit. Just making sure i'm right tho. Thanks. |

That motherboard can take up to 4GB DDR Ram...
So yes.. 2 * 512MB will clip in easilly enough.. Or you could keep what you have in alrdeady and put the 1GB in aswell. (Provided there are enough free slots)
