Re: TYPE OF RAM

Hello and welcome to the forum MISTAPAUL . Hope you will be with us as a regular member.

The answer is that the PC3200 running at 400mhz can be used in the system you are running at 266mhz. Just the PC3200 cannot run faster than 266 as this is your computers limit.

If you would like to know more about memory and how it works you can Click Here

Hope this helps LOZ

Re: TYPE OF RAM

Hi MISTAPAUL,

If you want new memory, go to www.crucial.com to see what kind of memory your motherboard takes, there's lots out there, if you put in the wrong type, you may bugger up your motherboard, better be safe than sorry on that one

Alex
