network Thoughts
I recently just finished building my first pc and I put it upstairs in my room.
I wanted to connect it to the internet and I realised I had spare routers i thought you could connect one router to another to gain access to the internet. The router that is working now is a netgear wirless router. I have another netgear router and a ZOOM X6 Gaming router do you think I could link them up and if so how. I just want to save on wires and if I can get this to work save on money to. |

Hi
Depending on the routers, some are able to act as wireless clients which is what you would want if you want to use it to connect your computer to your existing wireless router. Another option would be to create a separate wireless "bridge" using two other routers, one by your computer and one downstairs. Some routers will allow this, if you could post the exact model numbers for your router I will be able to tell you. I hope this helps. Many Thanks Leo |
