try and ping from command prompt 127.0.0.1 if it is successful then this means your TCP/IP stack is installed correctly. Then could suggest you try a website like Google for example and if it comes up with a dns problem then Ping Google.
You can run command prompt from Start > Run > CMD. once CMD is ran type ping 127.0.0.1 and this should be successful then try pinging google or sonme other website. if you get an echo reply successful then type the IP Address (example 66.102.88.9 ) into the address bar. The website should then appear successfully. Chris. |
