SERVER

i am getting windows server 2003 standard edition and i was wondering if it is any good?


is there any other server you would recomend i want it to be windows as my network is on windows pro.

To tell you how good windows 2003 server is...

My mother a total technophobe that could crash a pc by looking at it has windows 2003 server on her pc i installed it and in 2 years she has never crashed it once. I think it is probably the best windows version ever but that is only my opinion.

I think you made a good choice on os! Loz

i got my server and installed it

and and i want to be able to restrict users and i dont kn ow about the group policy editor

i am used to using regedit

i want to be able restrtict users but not admins

and i want to know how to make it so if someone logs on on a remote pc they have the restriction

too.

oh yes and i have 2 pc and they are both running xp pro
