New internet user, stuck

Bear with me here not very clever. Just signed up to yahoo. Internet connection working fine but cannot login when requested to do so. This happens in the yahoo browser, Internet explorer browser and messenger, outlook express etc. So cant set up any email accounts or use my own. Spoke to BT broadband Indian help centre several times all to no avail. Also receiving script error messages aplenty in Internet explorer. BT assure me email address and password are okay and my account is fine and should be working, apparently it must be my fault. Any ideas gratefully received Thanks.

Hi Sads, welcome to itsallPC

Because there are hundreds, maybe thousands of possible problems related to your symptoms, we're going to need to narrow it down a little. It would help greatly if you could give the exact errors you are experiencing, verbatim.

Agree with above.. it could be anything from a problem with IE to your anti-virus and firewall not allowing you proper..you have to give a little more info..wtahe the error is,what edition of windows you are using, have you just up graded ,etc etc..
