wireless adapter problems

Hi there, i have been lumbered somehow with setting up a wireless network in my office, i do have some technical knowledge but not loads, everything is running fine apart from one pc, they each have linksys wireless adapters and we have a linksys router, one pc i set up and due to user error have not been able to get it back on since. i have changed the wireless adapter for another one and that makes no difference, basically it doesnt even pick up a signal which is weird as it is right next to the router! it has no settings, i have tried to reinstall the drivers which it wont do i have looked in the device manager and it says there is a problem, so i try and do it all again and nothing seems to work. I have taken everything off the pc and reinstalled it and it still doesnt make any difference, if anybody has any suggestions i would be very grateful, thanks. :

Re: wireless adapter problems

Going to need a little more info:

Have you updated the drivers?
Are you using Windows built-in (Zero Config) wireless manager, or third party software?
Is the Windows up to date?
Are the wireless adapters PCI or USB? Does the system work with conventional wireled LAN okay?
What was the error you mentioned?
Are you using WEP or WPA? Shared or Open? What encryption strength?
