Usb Broadband Router
I'd like to connect my modem to a wireless router. However my adsl modem connects to my computer via usb. I realise that most wireless routers connect to a modem by ethernet, how can i get round this? can i buy a usb to ethernet cable? or are there routers that connect via usb as well?

Re: Usb Broadband Router
Hi Sean if you go to your local computer shop or search on the net is better you can find a wireless modem router! This is a modem and router built into one box.( no need for seperate modem and router) No need for RJ45 ethernet cables etc. Just hook the wireless modem router up to the power supply and the telephone line remeber to use the filter... Then plug in the usb dongle add drivers READ INSTRUCTIONS run the set up and you are finished! (Modem Router set up is done via a browser)
You then have to buy a wireless card or dongle for your computer. Then you can access the internet via wireless. I have a D-Link DSL 604GT or otherwise known as the dsl 904 in the UK This is a complete kit for everything that you will need to access the internet via wireless.. Cost around £45 if you hunt it out on the internet and ebay! Click here to View the Dlink Dsl 904ÂÂ! /ÂÂ! DSL604 GT + USB Dongle
