When i try to connect to the internet using AOL Broadband it says "plug in your phone line"

What i dont understand is that the line is in.ÂÂ!

I checked my internet connections and my modem is not listed as being set up. :'( :'( :'(

Does this mean that I have a problem with the broadband modem drivers?ÂÂ! ÂÂ! ??? ??? ???

Can anyone help because AOL Technical Help are a waste of space.

Hi I will try and help you out.

First of all i would rather eat an elephant in one go than ever take an aol aka AWOL product. Think about changing.

Right uninstall all of your AWOL software. Then go into control panel open up then go to system then go to hardware device manager.

In device manager check what broadband hardware is installed then delete it and reboot your system.

Now reinstall all of the software and see what happens. You could have a corrupt intsillation CD so ask for another. Also check your modem out on a friends computer to see if its working. Loz

Crap, you're brodband in the U.K. is expensive, over here in Canada ;D , My 10MB Broband is $19.99/Month.

That is like 12 Pounds a month!!!
