pc not booting up past XP window
hello experts,
Can anybody help a poor guy with a wonky PC,who is not terribly au fait with the internal workings of the beast.My problems started earlier this week when I suddenly began to get pop-ups tellng me that I had security problems and could they scan my pc and sort me out.I ignored these and now when booting up the pc I can only get as far as the windows XP wimdow,then there is a definite clunk as the pc knocks itself off and immediately starts booting up again in an never ending cycle. Tried safe mode with all the options,and booting from XP DISC,but nothing works. Any of you geeks know whats happening??Would be most obliged if anybody could sort me out. Cheers, Lombardo
