Downloading SiS motherboard update
I bought a new widescreen monitor but have no option to select a resolution of 1680 x 1050. I therefore need a way to provide this option.
My motherboard is an AMD Athlon 2600+ with on-board graphics, 4 years old. The processor is a SiS 741GX, and if I look on the SiS website, they offer several downloads, one of which updates the graphics. They warn that my VBIOS should be version 2.28.00 or later. Can anyone tell me where to find what version of VBIOS I have? Any advice appreciated. Thanks Chris
