Open up the machine and get the MOBO manufacturer name, model and revision usually printed somewhere on the board itself, the other bit of info you need is the type of BIOS the board uses...
Go to the Manufacturers web site and download the latest BIOS and also a flash utility. You will need a floppy disk and a lot of patience. Follow the directions very carefully and you should be ok. |
