Sound problem

Hi .....I need some help here . I've just upgraded my pc and installed XP pro and everything was working fine . I then decided to install Vista beta version which I got through Microsoft . I now don't have any sound Vista's telling me there's no audio ouput device installed ? I have installed the driver for my mobo soundcard still no joy ..............any ideas ?

ASUS P5VD2-MX
Intel core 2 duo 1.86ghz
1GB Memory
