I have recently built my first pc :

My Specs:
600w Jeantech arctic psu
4 x Hynix ddr2 512mb 533Mhz (PC2-4200 / 4300) (2 gig Total) the memory are matched pairs
Asus EN6200TC512 Graphics Card
250gig Western Digital Sata 1 Hard Drive
Phillips CDRW5200
Philips LS16 Lightscribe DVD Writer
MSI K9N NEO-F Mobo
AMD 3800+ 64 AM2 - Orleans Core

The Motherboard has developed a problem it powers off ( like pulling the plug from the mains) when transfering large files over lan and when burning cd/dvd'sÂÂ! >

My Question is i am after another motherboard as i can't wait 4- 8 weeks for a replacement from MSI, I have a budget of £70.00 for a new board i am not interested in overclocking the board.

I was looking at the ASUS M2N-E any goodÂÂ! ???

Any advice on what board to go for would be a help

What exactly made you think it's the motherboard causing these issues? What have you tried to fix it?

The fault is with most of the MSI K9N series boards if you look on the Nvidia forum on the MSI site, I have done a rma to MSI and is on the way to them for replacement. They just power off like pulling the plug from the mains this happens if you are doing large downloads over lan or trying to burn a cd or dvd's.

So i now without a board as i said in my earlier post i am looking at the ASUS M2N-E or ABIT KN9S are these boards any good.
