Need help with a "CHEAP" Dell!
Greetings.
Currently there is a Dell Dimension 3000 in my household. Yet I have a problem with it. One of the chipsets, either north or south I dont know, has a heatsink on top of it. Yet there is no fan blowing air over it and it gets FRIKIN HOT! You could cook eggs on that thing. The only fan it has is for the processor. So I was wondering, are there any more fan connectors on this Dell motherboard so I can put an extra fan? The heatsink is located below the processor so Im guessing it is the south chip? Well if any one can answer, thanks alot. \m/ |

Re: Need help with a "CHEAP" Dell!
If you take a look from your PSU (Power supply unit , the one you plud the power cable into)
From there, there should be a few spare 4-pin sockets that you can plug fans into. hope this helps Tom.
