Re: Biostar m7mia Mobo

That motherboard is equipped with the uncommon AMD 760 chipset, which includes the AMD 761 nothbridge, supporting all AMD Athlon and Duron processors. To my knowledge, this chipset does not support the Athlon XP. 1.4 GHz is the final frequency of Athlon, before the Athlon XP picked up, dropping the GHz and using the naming convention XXXX+.

I should caution you against Biostar. As a manufacturer, they produce cheap, poor quality crap, along with other subsidiary companies such as AsRock, Axper etc.

Re: Biostar m7mia Mobo

As I said,

All AMD Athlons, No Athlon XPs

That's any AMD processor that starts with AMD Athlon...but doesn't have an XP in it. I can't imagine how to make it clearer...
