Someone please HELP!!!!

we have been trying to upgrade the mother board and cpu along with a new graphics card. the mobo is a gigabyte GA-k8n-SLI with AMD 64 3500+ CPU socket 939. The graphics is nvidia geforce 6600gt 256MB/DDR3 PCI Express card.ÂÂ! the problem that we have is that windows xp home edtion will not install!! things that we have done to slove this is :
fdisk the HDD and formatted
installed windows to the point that it is copying files but it stops on ramdom files and says that it could not copy said fileÂÂ! and hit enter to retry I have done this some times it copys sometimes not but it will not get passed this stage.
I have installed to the same HDD same copy of xp but in another machine and it is fine but when I put it back in to the other it dies and the pc continually reboots.
I have changed the ide cables to ones that I know work and have rechecked the hardware all seems to be correct.checked cd player in other pc it works. checked os disc its fine with no scratches.
so far as i can tell it is a driver problem but if i can't get passed the file copying stage it wont let me put the driver cdrom that came with the mobo.
i have been into the recovery console but im stumpt there as i realy dont know if i can put the drivers there.
please if anyone can help me it would make me very happy thanks ???
