Motherboard Capabilities
Got a PC downstairs which was bought premade from a retailer. How do I find out what the motherboard is and what it can take (i.e. Max/Type RAM) etc...... Any programs? Like dxdiag tells you what every component is except the motherboard. PLEASE HELP ÂÂ!:-*

Re: Motherboard Capabilities
The most popular application for that use is CPU-Z.
It may not be able to tell you the manufacturer and or model of your motherboard, but it will report the chipset information and should have no difficulty reporting information on allocated/free DIMM slots. ![]() |
