Newbie Question's

I have a couple of questions for you smart guys. I have an old windows 98 running computer. I want to update it to a xp running computer. Do i need the 98 disk? and what other processes will i need to go through, i wont be keeping any of the files.... Also my second quesiton is that i have a computer running xp, and i want to wipe it because its about 4 years old without a wipe. My concern with that is that i have never reprogramed a wireless connection before and the wiping will erase the wireless programs and things, what should i do to keep this from happeneing, is it hard to reprogram a wireless accepter? thanks guys !!!

Tom has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Hi.

If you're PC is capable of running Windows XP then it's easy. Put in the Windows XP CD and follow the on-screen instructions.

Setting up wireless network adapters is also fairly easy. If you're not sure what you are doing there will be instructons / drivers on the adapters manufacturers website.

If you're still not sure or you have any more questions feel free to post back.

Hope this helps
Tom.
