windows notification messages

Hi, does anyone know if there is a way of temporarily disabling Windows messages in Internet Explorer? Eg: the little grey box that appears in the middle of the screen when you are about to enter a secure zone - it says something like: "you are about to enter a secure connection. Any pages you view on this connection cannot be viewed by anyone else.... etc." I know that you can tick a box in this particular window for it not to reappear again, but there are other similar notification messages that don't have this option, and each time the event they are associated with happens, and they appear, you have to close them yourself. Hopefully i explained it ok, and you know what i'm talking about lol. Any ideas anyone?

Re: windows notification messages

If you go into Internet Options (in Internet Explorer; Tools, Options) and click on the Advanced tab, in the Settings listbox, scroll down to the Security section. Depending on the version of Internet Explorer you're using, you'll see various "Warn if/when..." options that you can uncheck.

I hope this is what you're looking for
