Re: Windows XP question

Do you mean, the software package itself, or once it has been installed on a system?

Re: Windows XP question

Read this.

It's easy to tell them apart. OEM is just a license key and a CD in a small shrink-wrapped pack. Retail comes in a jewel case or folding pack and is sold in a box and a manual of some sort. Upgrade comes in an folding pack and is clearly marked as Upgrade.
