Microsoft Vista Wont Install

I have Windows xp pro and when I try and install Vista it will go as far as expanding files and freeze and I cant understand why?


Any help would be great

First of all I would highly recommend staying away from Vista. If you just have to use it or want to play with it, just install it on a virtual machine like any other virus.

As for you problem, did you run the Vista advisor first to see if your system can run it?

I would go on Microsoft Vista website and install the Vista Upgrade Advisor, it will help you with which Vista package and see if the spec are able to run.
