Hi folks, with ref to the post for my cd/dvd it is complelty buggerd.

The main reason I wanted to do this was to reinstall vista again as my laptop was completly clogged.

I was then told by a freind to "restore" it thus this will make it like new.

Can anyone help how i do this please.

If there is anyway you can get your cd drive working,or if you have a spear,insert the windows vista cd rom(the setup disc),and let it boot from cd and when you have got the files loaded go my language is english and in the bottom left cornor,they should be a repair my computer thing.
Click on that and go restore my computer.
There should be some restore points if there are not i am sorry you have lost all your data.
You will have to reinstall windows vista.
Or another Operating system.
