The new windows vista is lame, some many software uncampatable with it, everytime i search online for software i have to type in Vista, there worse then mac's. Is there any good sites to download vista software fo free or is vista just a jackarse?

Vista is a good features wise but not so good on the multi-side of things.

I can download anything and everything for my Vista, just needs a little looking and tinkering

Even Download.com does some pritty good one's for Windows Vista

And have you thought about getting Windows Vista and putting a partition on for Windows XP to sit in for you?

And you say mac is better than Windows???? HAHA it's MAC, their is no way MAC is better than Windows

I wouldnt trust getting vista until SP1 has been released. As said its very feature packed but nothing works on it all the products you can buy from retail shops aren't compatible. Its just like a Mac nothing works on a Mac there is always compatibility issues on that too. The standardised interfaces and functionality from win 2000 onwards was revolutionary this was built on further by XP. Now they seem to have taken a step backwards. I hate Mac's and no matter what happens windows will always be better but i dont want to see the same issues with Vista.
