I have just bought a HCL Milead notebook and havent unwrapped it yet because I just realized it doesn't have a cd drive. it runs Windows XP Home Edition so how to I load programs onto it to run them?

You could run them over a network but this would make things difficult. The second option is to buy an external cd drive.
but if you have just bought it i would recommend sending it back, you can buy laptops cheap these days and nearly all come with cd drives. Many thanks John |
