USB Device not Recognized ? - Computer Forum

Hi all, I've reinstalled windows XP on my Toshiba Laptop.Since I've reinstalled windows XP It will not except my Netgear Adapter for my wireless connection.When i put my Adapter into the USB port I get this message .... USB Device not Recognized, One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it....

I've uninstalled the USB Roots & ports & then reinstalled them with the Windows wizard & still get this messgae.Any help welcome....

Sounds like your Device is faulty,
Try it on a different computer before you disgard it as to determine
wether your computer has USB Problems or the Device.
Sometimes windows can also screw up the USB Ports
