e-system 4213 wireless problems

Hi guys. My daughter has just bought a e-system 4213 laptop from PC world. It states that it has wireless LAN b/g but I cannot connect wirelessly to my BT homehub. I've heard that laptops have a switch to turn the wireless card on and off but I'll be buggered if I can find it. Any Ideas, suggestions?

With laptops, there's often a function key on the keyboard, which you press and hold while pushing one of the F keys above the main keyboard. It's usually down in the bottom left of the keyboard. It should match the colour of the function icon. For example, on my laptop, the volume buttons are F3, F4 and F5. The icons are light blue, and the function button is in the same colour.

Sometimes, the wireless on/off switch on laptops is one of these hotkeys.
