Asus- Power Turns Off
Hi Igot a new Asus notebook - model A6R- 3 weeks ago.All was well until 2 days ago. After it has been on for 25-30 minutes it just shuts down. It comes straight back on but lasts for minutes. The battery is fully charged but after about 35 mins of on/off it says low battery. The bottom where the fan is gets quite warm. When it is first put on I get an internet speed (wireless operated from another p.c.) of 54.0mbs but goes down to 1 before it turns off.I took it to the shop were I bought it . They ran a test and said there was nothing wrong with the fan and to contact the manufactures, which is easier said than done.
Can anybody give me any help or advise please. ![]() |

Heat
This sounds like a heat problem i recently dianosed a laptop that had a similar problem, try downloading motherboard monitor this will tell you key information about the motherboard e.g. CPU Temp if you monitor this whilst on your laptop you will be able to see what tempertures your CPU is hitting and if it turns off when the temperture is HI!
as laptops are not the easiest things to upgrade or repair i do reccommend sending your laptop back to the manfactuerer for reapair! IFLINT TECH |
