Subjective question.
It's a dedicated graphics controller, which means a) it's more feature rich than integrated solutions but b) will consume more power.
It's based on the Radeon X1-series architecture, so it supports DirectX 9.0c, and has a whole host of other multimedia acceleration technologies.
It's roughly the same performance as a GeForce 6600 GT, which makes it a fairly good gamer, but not fantastic. You can expect to play reasonably new titles at conservative settings.
