Posting for a friend, usb problem.
How doesd my friend disable the usb in bios. He has a usb card writer which when pluged in does not initialise. It works fine on the pc but not on the lap top.

Is it external? And why does he want to turn it off in the bios. or do you mean turn on usb support in the bios?

BIOS = Basic Input Output System

It's used mainly for setting system settings, or overclocking.
