Plug and Play

Hello all,

I have a Tiny laptop which has decided not to plug and play.テつ! I am trying to get my printer (Epson R300) connected and be able to do some work.テつ! It did connect previously.テつ! Now it does'nt. It's driving me mad. I can connect through the parrallel port to my other printer and it works OK.テつ! Everything tells me it's OK and working correctlyif I go through the system.テつ! But I cannot get it to find my printer!!テつ! Help please!!

Hi GT40. There are several things you can try.

Are you using win XP?
If so you can do a system restore back to the time when it was working. Just go to control panel.... Performance and Maintenance look at the box on the top left hand corner and click system restore follow the instructions.

If not try uninstalling all usb devices in

First uninstall all of your printer drivers and software.

Next

Go to control panel>>> system>>> click the Hardware tab. >>>> Find the Universal serial Bus (click on it) uninstall everything in this section and reboot. They should install automatically when you restart your pc

Then reinstall all of your Printer drivers and software. If you have XP befor you go to the second step try the system restore first Loz
