Help with AGP card upgrade

Hi guys - thank you for taking the time to read this and to hopefully answer my query.

My current graphics card is starting to play up (fan noisy) and I would like to replace it but have a few queries regarding what I should be looking for in a graphics card to suit my system.

After doing a little bit of research the main query I have is picking a card which will work with my current PSU as mine is only 250w. It may just be me being thick but on all of the card spec's I've looked at none of them give a power requirement.

If anyone could give me a few pointers or recommend a card I would be most grateful.

Many thanks

Karlos

Current Spec
250Watt PSU
P4 1.8GHZ
1792 MB (DDR SDRAM)
Motherboard - MSI 645 Ultra (MS-6547)
ATI Radeon 8500
Windows XP

A more helpful piece of advice is that AGP cards need 18A minimum of the 12V rail from a PSU. It is unlikely that any newer AGP card will be satisfied with a 250W PSU.

What i suggest is posting the exact model of your PSU, and then we can discuss alternatives for the AGP card/PSU upgrade.
