Hello all, i'm currently upgrading a pc simply for playing around on...games etc..currently have an iMac but due to the huge lack of games ive found myself upgrading a pc!
So this is what ive currently got in the pc, Intel P4 2.2ghz (board is INTEL D845EBG2) 130gb+40gb HDD 1GB RAM XP and now im looking for a graphics card, the board has an agp slot (4x) needing some pointers in what i should go for. Not really looking to spend too much, hopefully pick something up on ebay. What I do need to know is how compatible my AGP slot is, will this AGP slot work with 4x/8x cards? as i say my intention will probably be just to play games etc.. ive looked at a couple of cards i.e:- the ATI Radeon 9550 256MB i've come across which maybe is a good bet? Looking for any general advice really! Any help here guys will be a great help, thanks Si |
