Graphics card fault. Problems booting.
Hi,
My PC is about 3 and a half years old. For about the last 7 weeks when i boot up my computer, i get "No signal" appear on my monitor. I switch off and reboot and on the fifth or sixth attempt (used to be second or third attempt but its getting worse) it starts up properly. I had a look inside and can see that the fan on the graphics card, doesn't start up until it boots up properly (on the fifth or attempt) but power supply etc works fine. I took out and cleaned the fan but it didn't make any difference and it didn't when i bought a new fan for it either. Do you think a new graphics card will sort out this problem or could it be caused by something else. All leads to graphics card and monitor are securely in place. Thankyou ,Atlantis808 |
