Switching to HD Gaming
Hi, i have recently purchased a new computer with 2x7900 gs SLI graphics cards which are capable of going hd. I was just wandering if all DVI monitors on the market are HD as none of them actually claim to be HD.
Alsoif i did buy a hd monitor, what games would i be able to play in HD anyway because i have my graphics on the best it can be already, there doesnt seem to be a high definition option in the graphics setting in any of the games i have. I am concerd because i have an adapter to turn DVI to AGP for the monitor i am using now, and if my graphics card is allready turning out HD only to be converted back to and anologue signal, it would be such a drain! all of that processing power going into producing HD just to be converted streight back by the adapter. Can someone please tell me where i am going wrong here and how the whole HD thing works thanks |
